...reducing avoidable harms

Talley Group are the UK’s largest, privately owned manufacturer of specialist pressure area care (PAC) support surfaces for the prevention and management of pressure ulcers. Read more about our Quattro therapy support surfaces.

With many hospitalised COVID-19 patients being acutely ill and requiring ITU level care, the risk of pressure ulcers in these patients can be incredibly high. Talley are delighted to provide a digital Pressure Ulcer Classification Guide for clinicians to refer to.

QUATTRO Therapy

The active 1-in-4 cell cycle supports 75% of the patient's body at all times, on groups of three inflated cells, whilst the fourth cell deflates sufficiently to redistribute the pressure and encourage tissue reperfusion.

QUATTRO Acute

The Quattro Acute DEEP CELL THERAPY allows the cells to run at lower internal pressures.  This minimises the pressure applied to the patient's skin and subcutaneous tissues during the cycle.

QUATTRO Plus

The QUATTRO Plus, with it's 4-in-1 cell cycle helps with both redistribution and enhances patient comfort.  Along with this, the QUATTRO Plus' TISSUEgard TM air cell design with ODS TM (ortho-differential support) reduces interface pressure and tissue strain and provides optimal comfort and support for varying body shapes and sizes.

FUSION Hybrid

Every air cell contains specialist pressure redistributing foam.  In the non-powered state this provides a reactive, constant low pressure support surface for basic pressure area care needs.  Once connected to the power unit, the air cells operate as an active therapy surface providing an 8 minute, 1-in-2 cell cycle which offers regular pressure redistribution for patients at an elevated risk of pressure ulcers.

POLYFLOAT Aero

The POLYFLOAT Aero mattress uses a unique network of intersecting air channels to assist with mattress profiling and patient comfort. In addition, the zoned, castellated mattress surface enables the foam to conform to individual body contours, which effectively redistributes pressure by allowing the partial immersion and envelopment of the patient.

POLYFLOAT Dormira

The castellated profile of POLYFLOAT TM  Dormira allows the mattress surface to conform to the patient's body contours, distributing their weight evenly across the mattress thereby reducing the average interface pressures. Smaller castellations to the heel and head areas help to further protect these bony prominences.
