#PoweringPUprevention
With global STOP PRESSURE ULCERS day taking place on the 19th November we are working closely with a wide range of healthcare providers and partners both in the UK and in several countries around the world.
Our goal for STP2020 is to support all of our partners with class leading education and information specifically aimed at pressure ulcer prevention and management. Particular areas of interest that we will focus on in the run up to STOP PRESSURE ULCERS day include:
- The patient voice and the lived experience of people directly affected by pressure ulcers
- Pressure ulcer classification
- The aSSKINg framework
- Understanding PAC support surfaces
- Patient and carer information
- Pressure ulceration in darker skin
