WCT 2021 Covid Statement

With the recent changes in Covid restrictions, we wanted to give you an important update regarding this year’s conference:

As you know we have been monitoring the news over the past few weeks, and with the likely introduction of Covid passports plus our determination to make this event as safe as
possible, we have taken the decision to reintroduce the following measures:

We will be verifying all attendee's Covid-19 status on arrival at WCT, which will include delegates, exhibitors, contractors, venue and all event staffThis means attendees will need
to demonstrate proof of COVID-19 status for entry to the event.
This will need to be one of the following:
  • Proof of completion of a full course of vaccination

  • Proof of a negative Lateral Flow Test result taken within 48hrs of arrival

Masks: In line with the Government guidance from July 19th, it is no longer mandatory to wear a mask or face covering in all settings. This means that you can use them at your
discretion but we ask that you carry a mask with you at all times and be courteous to those around you by wearing a mask in areas that may become busy.
Cleaning & Venue Hygiene: The facilities team onsite have a robust cleaning schedule in place. All high volume touch points will be sanitised on a regular basis and sanitiser stations
will be available throughout the venue.
We hope that you agree this is the most sensible approach to take and we hope that it will provide reassurance to all attendees but should you have any queries at all please do get
in touch
