National Sales Manager, Mediq UK’s Wound Care and Clinical team
Sharon is the National Sales Manager for Mediq UK’s Wound Care and Clinical team. She brings extensive clinical experience to the role, having previously worked as a Tissue Viability Specialist Nurse within a large oncology trust. Alongside her position at Mediq UK, she continues to practise clinically as a Nurse Practitioner in an urgent care walk in centre. Sharon is an independent nurse prescriber, and a Queens Nurse.
During the COVID 19 pandemic, Sharon undertook an honorary contract as a Tissue Viability Nurse for a local trust—an appointment she continues to hold.
In her role at Mediq UK, Sharon provides expert clinical insight across the organisation’s portfolio. This includes delivering bespoke training and education to a wide range of healthcare professionals, contributing to clinical marketing activity, and supporting NHS trusts with evidence based clinical decision making.
Throughout her NHS career, Sharon has been passionate about developing and empowering healthcare staff, particularly in the areas of oncology and skin integrity. She continues this commitment within her current role, ensuring colleagues and customers receive the highest standards of clinical support.
