ConvaTec ConvaMax™ Superabsorber

Product name: ConvaMax™ Superabsorber

Product description: ConvaMax™ is the NEW Superabsorber dressing from ConvaTec. ConvaTec brings over 25 years of experience in wound healing and its products are trusted by medical professionals all over the world.

ConvaMax™ combines high absorption and retention to protect from excess exudate contributing to poor skin integrity. It combines high performance with softness and conformability. Highly absorbent, even under compression, it locks excess exudate and bacteria away from the wound.

Product information:

High fluid absorption*
ConvaMax™ absorbs high levels of exudate into the Superabsorbent (SAP) core (up to 170g/100cm2).

Absorbency

Absorbency under pressure

High retention of fluid and bacteria*
Once exudate has been absorbed, ConvaMax™ retains the fluid within the SAP core.

Protease modulation*
ConvaMax™ has been proven in-vitro to not only absorb MMP's but also bind them.

Soft and conformable*
It's soft on the skin, easy to apply and easy to remove for patient satisfaction. The protective blue backing prevents strike through and maintains conformability.

Extra protection*
When an additional primary dressing is required, it may be used with Hydrofiber® dressing such as AQUACEL® EXTRA™. Exudate can transfer through the Hydrofiber® layer and be absorbed by ConvaMax™, providing a combination of an advanced wound contact layer and high absorption capacity.
